Shipping Policy

All orders ship within the United States only. Geographic service is not available to residents of all US states; if your shipping address is in a state where we cannot deliver, your order will be cancelled before shipment and you will receive a full refund within 7 working days. Our checkout enforces this restriction at the point of purchase where possible.
1. Processing Time vs. Transit Time
Two distinct timelines apply to every order, and they are cumulative:
- Processing time — the time from order placement to handoff to a carrier or printer. This is within our control (or our vendor's).
- Transit time — the time the carrier takes to deliver once the package is in their hands. This is the carrier's estimate, not a guarantee.

Business days exclude weekends and US federal holidays. Processing times are estimates based on normal conditions; production or fulfillment delays will be communicated by email as soon as we are aware of them. If we are unable to ship within 30 days of your order, you will be notified and offered the option to cancel for a full refund, consistent with FTC requirements.
2. International Fulfillment — Curiosity Cabinet Items
Some items in the Curiosity Cabinet are fulfilled by vendors, including CJ Dropshipping, that operate fulfillment centers outside the United States. These items ship to US addresses only, but they may originate from a non-US warehouse. Where this applies, transit times may be longer than those listed above, and carriers may vary. Items are clearly identified where this is the case. Customs duties do not apply for delivery to US addresses.
3. Carriers and Tracking
We use USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers depending on item weight, dimensions, and destination. We do not guarantee the use of any specific carrier. For Bindery items, the carrier is selected by Lulu Direct.
Tracking information will be sent to the email address on your order once your package is in transit. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear after the package is scanned. For dropshipped or print-on-demand items that ship separately, you will receive a separate tracking notification for each shipment.
4. Address Accuracy
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. We ship to the address as entered. If a package is returned to sender due to an address error or failed delivery attempts, we will contact you by email and offer to reship at your expense or to refund the item price (original shipping charges are not refunded for address errors).
We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address that was provided to us.
5. Lost or Damaged Shipments
Lost packages: A shipment is considered lost when tracking shows no movement for 10 or more business days past the estimated delivery date, or when the carrier marks the item delivered but you have not received it. Write to curator@thebespokebibliophile.com within 14 days of the expected delivery date with your order number and tracking number. We will open a carrier claim and keep you informed. Depending on the outcome of the carrier claim, we will reship or refund.
Damaged packages: If your order arrives visibly damaged, write to curator@thebespokebibliophile.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the damage, and photographs of the packaging and the item. We will open a carrier claim. Depending on the outcome, we will provide a replacement or refund.
Risk of loss passes to you upon carrier pickup — but where a carrier has failed to deliver or has caused damage, we will work to recover a remedy on your behalf. We do not leave customers without recourse for carrier failures within the reporting window.
